The Boat

“My MissChief” is a custom catamaran with hulls modeled after the Royal Cape design.

Specifications:

  • 0.9 meter draft

My MissChief was designed to sleep 16 people but has been reduced to 12 people due to one cabin being modified to contain the necessities of full time living and working on the boat.

There are 6 cabins each with an en-suite bathroom.

Starboard Hull Cabins:

  • King Bed in bow, bathroom has a bathtub and electric toilet
  • Double bed in stern, bathroom has manual toilet
  • 4 single bunks in mid-ships, bathroom has electric toilet

Port Hull Cabins:

  • King Bed in bow, bathroom has a bathtub and electric toilet
  • Double bed in stern, bathroom has manual toilet
  • originally 4 single bunks in mid-ships but has been converted to contain a clothes washer, extra fridge & supplies, bathroom has electric toilet

Features:

  • Designed for single handed sailing
  • 2.5″ stainless steel railing all around the deck
  • All fiberglass beneath the waterline (minimum 15mm thick, maximum 80mm thick)
  • Exterior is all double walled (fiberglass – balsa wood – fiberglass – balsa wood – fiberglass) above the waterline
  • Dual swim ladders

  • Small built-in freezer converted to 12V
  • Large (346 Litre) Fridge only running 220V but consuming only 300 Watt Hours per day
